The plants island

The Island of Plants is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city of Aswan and one of the oldest gardens in the world. The Botanical Garden in Aswan is located on an entire island and contains many rare trees and plants. The Island of Plants has witnessed visits from many prominent historical figures, the most notable of whom are: Nehru, the Prime Minister of India, Josip Tito, the President of Yugoslavia, and Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain.
